One of our favorite meetings of the year is the Day at the Capitol. This year, over 200 dental hygienists and dental hygiene students banded together to meet with local representatives to advocate for oral health. Additionally, this year SB247 was presented to the legislature to allow dental hygienists work in alternate settings without a collaborative agreement. We're excited to announce that the bill has passed, allowing more access to care to hard to reach populations that desperately need care.
