About the Presentors:
Angela Study is an accomplished dental hygienist with an impressive 25 years of experience in the field. She is just a few weeks away from completing her Master's Degree, a testament to her dedication to continuous learning and professional growth. Angela's extensive career has been marked by her commitment to excellence in dental hygiene and her passion for advancing the field through education.As an active member of the American Dental Association (ADA), the Indiana Dental Association (IDA), and the Isaac Knapp District Dental Society, Angela remains deeply involved in the professional community. Her membership in the Organization for Safety, Asepsis and Prevention (OSAP) underscores her dedication to maintaining the highest standards of safety and infection control in dental practice. She has earned her Sterilization and Infection Control certification through OSAP and the Dental Assisting National Board (DANB), further solidifying her expertise in this critical area.In addition to her technical skills, Angela is committed to fostering an inclusive and equitable environment within the dental profession. She holds a Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) certificate from Cornell University and is an active participant in the United Front initiative, which promotes these values across various sectors.Angela's passion for education is evident in her efforts to provide continuing education to dental professionals. She has shared her knowledge and expertise with over 5,000 dental personnel across the country, helping to elevate the standard of care and professionalism within the industry. Her dedication to education is not just about sharing information but also about inspiring and empowering others to achieve their best.
Maureen Schroeder, known as Mo, is a seasoned dental hygienist with an impressive 35-year career based in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Her journey in dentistry began with a passion for oral health and patient care, which has only deepened over the decades. Maureen's commitment to her field is evident in her ongoing dedication to staying abreast of the latest advancements and innovations in dental care.
In recent years, Maureen has focused her efforts on researching holistic dental options, with a particular interest in hydroxyapatite. This naturally occurring mineral, known for its compatibility with the human body, has been a central theme in her studies and practice. Her exploration into these alternative dental treatments underscores her commitment to providing safe, effective, and comprehensive care tailored to the individual needs of her patients.
